MATCHASOUNDS 009: April 2019
Can you believe Miracle Month has already come to a close? March sure had its ups and downs, but ending it with my birthday was truly the cherry on top.
With the turn on April comes the beginning of the most sacred season of them all – festival season. And kicking that right off, of course, is Coachella. I can’t believe it’s already my fifth year at the Indio festival. I feel like I finally got the lay of the land down and know all the in’s and out’s.
To prepare for the trip out to the desert cities, I put together a very special edition of MATCHASOUNDS for your drive (or other mode of transportation) over.
Every year I always put together a playlist to set the shmood for when you roll up on those windmills and the phone service starts to die out (check back to 2017 and 2018). I like to put together a solid set of songs featuring some of the artists on the Coachella lineup along with some other songs I’m obsessed with at the moment and a few classic in between.
Whether stopping along the way at Desert X or not, this is the perfect playlist for a hazy afternoon desert drive.
